Summer Time is a low-grown Ceylon black tea from the Tea Spirit range of Battler. It is an Orange Pekoe (OP) grade leaf, packed as 100g of loose tea in a tin caddy.
The cup is bright and refreshing, with lively notes and a light character, made for warm afternoons. The OP leaf is long and open, so it gives a clean, smooth cup rather than a heavy one.

Tasting notes
Bright and lively, with a light body, a clear liquor and a clean finish.
How to brew
- Use one teaspoon (about 2.5 g) of leaf per cup.
- Pour on freshly boiled water.
- Steep for 3 to 5 minutes, then strain.
Serving ideas
Drink it plain or with lemon. Its light character also makes good iced tea: brew it a little stronger, cool it, and pour over ice with mint or citrus.
