About this experience
Hurulu Eco Park ligt in de North Central Province van Sri Lanka en heeft de onderscheiding van een UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — een erkenning die de ecologische betekenis van zijn droge-zone bossen en de fauna die zij ondersteunen weerspiegelt. Het park wordt veel beschouwd als een van de meest lonende habitats van het land voor wilde olifanten, en een drieuurige safari hier biedt een echte mogelijkheid om kuddes te observeren terwijl zij door open struikland en bos in hun natuurlijke omgeving bewegen.
Het toegangskaartje, vooraf geregeld via Lakpura, betekent dat er geen noodzaak is om bij aankomst in de rij te staan bij de poort. Alles is voor het bezoek voorbereid, waardoor de tijd in het park kan worden doorgebracht in plaats van bij de ingang.
