About this experience
Hurulu Eco Park sits in Sri Lanka's North Central Province, part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve where dry-zone forest, wetlands, and grassland shelter elephants, leopards, deer, and a wide range of bird species. This entrance ticket covers your three-hour jeep safari, giving you a genuine chance to watch elephant herds move through open scrubland — sightings are best during the cooler morning and late-afternoon hours, so arriving promptly matters.
Buying your ticket in advance through Lakpura means no queuing at the gate; it's arranged before you arrive, so your time goes straight into the park rather than the ticket line. The ticket covers entry only — a safari jeep with an English-speaking driver is required alongside it, and pick-up/drop-off to the park gate, food and drink, and gratuities are not included but can be arranged separately.
