About this experience
Spend eight days exploring the full sweep of Sri Lanka's wildlife corridor, from dense rainforest to open savannah and the Indian Ocean coastline. Walk the trails of Sinharaja Forest Reserve, where filtered light barely reaches the forest floor and endemic birds, reptiles, and insects fill every layer of the canopy. Head south to Yala National Park for a jeep safari in search of Sri Lankan leopards and herds of Indian elephants, then scan the horizon off Mirissa for blue and sperm whales on a dedicated whale-watching excursion. Stroll Galle Fort's ramparts, visit a turtle hatchery at Koggala, pause at the Kalamatiya Bird Sanctuary, and tour the Handunugoda Tea Factory before the journey ends.
Throughout the tour, Lakpura provides a private vehicle with an English-speaking chauffeur guide, all fuel, parking, and highway tolls covered, plus two 500 ml water bottles per person each day. Hotel accommodation, meals, and site entrance fees are arranged separately. The private format means the itinerary moves at your pace, with no shared coaches or fixed group schedules.
