About this experience
Over eight days, you travel through Sri Lanka's most rewarding landscapes in a private vehicle with an English-speaking chauffeur guide taking care of every road, toll, and parking stop along the way. The journey moves from the commercial bustle of Colombo to the mist-wrapped tea highlands around Hatton, then south through Ella — where Little Adam's Peak rewards a short ridge walk with sweeping valley views — before reaching Kandy for the Temple of the Tooth. Each day includes two 500 ml water bottles per person, and all taxes and service charges are covered.
The final stretch brings you to the south coast: whale watching off Mirissa, the iconic stilt fishermen near Weligama, a turtle hatchery visit, the Handungoda Tea Factory, and a walk through the Dutch colonial lanes of Galle Fort. Hotel accommodation, meals, and site entrance fees are arranged separately, giving you full flexibility on where you stay and eat. Lakpura handles the road; you handle the itinerary highlights at your own pace.
