The Trainspotter is a 24-hour restaurant serving Asian and international dishes and fresh seafood, with action stations for hot hoppers, pizzas and burgers. Just outside the hotel, the Yacht Cabin pastry shop sells pastries, pies, croissants, cookies, cakes and bread.
Shops, banks, restaurants and bars are within minutes of the hotel. In the city, the National Museum is worth a visit and the Galle Face promenade is a fine place to spend an evening, while Galle and the southern beaches, or Kandy and the hill country, can be reached within a few hours by road.
