Once in Ratnapura, step inside the Gem Museum to see sapphires, rubies, and amethysts up close alongside the cutting tools and mining methods that shape the industry. Afterwards, visit an active gem mine and watch workers sift through gravel in search of precious stones. The full excursion runs seven hours, door to door, with hotel pickup and drop-off included.
