About this experience
Board the train at Kandy and watch mist-draped highlands roll past your window as you travel to Nanu Oya — one of the most scenic rail journeys in Asia. Over eight days, your private chauffeur guide collects you each morning and leads you through the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a Kandy cultural show, colonial Nuwara Eliya, Little Adam's Peak, Ravana Falls, a Yala National Park safari, whale watching in Mirissa, and historic monuments in Colombo. Two 500 ml water bottles per person are provided daily, and all taxes and highway tolls are covered.
This is a fully private tour, so the pace suits your group. Hotel accommodation and meals are arranged separately, giving you flexibility on where you stay and eat. Entrance fees to each site are paid on the day. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide handles the driving, parking, and navigation throughout, leaving you free to take in the landscapes, wildlife, and culture that make Sri Lanka's hill country and southern coast worth the journey.
