Allaccia gli stivali e dirigiti verso la Catena Montuosa di Hanthana, una successione ondulata di vette appena fuori Kandy. Dopo un briefing pre-trekking nel punto d'incontro concordato, ti incammini su un sentiero di 6-9 km attraverso un denso terreno montano — creste baciate dalle nuvole, orti di spezie e sentieri forestali che si aprono su viste panoramiche della valle. Una naturalista esperta ti guida lungo il percorso, indicandoti la flora endemica e l'avifauna mentre sali. L'acqua in bottiglia è fornita per tutto il percorso e le tasse d'ingresso sono coperte dove applicabile. L'escursione completa dura sei ore.
Questa è un'escursione privata, quindi il ritmo è il tuo. L'età minima è 12 anni. Il trasporto da e verso il sentiero non è incluso, quindi organizza tu stesso il trasferimento da Kandy.
