The hotel is about 148 km by road from Bandaranaike International Airport at Katunayake, a drive of usually 3 to 3.5 hours depending on traffic and the weather. Book the Colombo (CMB) Airport transfer to Hotel Sigiriya.

Minneriya and Kaudulla national parks are within reach for elephant safaris, and closer to home there are village and temple visits, cooking demonstrations with a local chef, farm and spice tours, and early-morning birdwatching walks in the hotel grounds.
We loved the atmosphere. Staff are lovely, location is convenient and the view of Lion Rock is amazing. My favourite part was the trees. Outside our bedroom window and all around the resort were beautiful ancient trees.
Be aware of the dogs… we had to get a rabies vaccin…
Hotel is quite close to the iconic Sigiriya rock. We loved the relaxed atmosphere from the check-in, throughout our stay up to the check-out. Our room was very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Restaurant gave a good spread…
