Steigen Sie in den Sattel und verbringen Sie zwei Stunden damit, durch eine der am besten erhaltenen Kolonialstädte Asiens zu radeln. Ihr Guide führt Sie durch die engen, niederländisch benannten Straßen von Galle Fort – vorbei an weiß getünchten Kirchen, alten Kolonialhäusern und von Boutiquen gesäumten Gassen – und erklärt die Schichten portugiesischer, niederländischer und britischer Geschichte, die in jeder Mauer verankert sind. Fahren Sie auf den antiken Wällen für offene Ausblicke über den Indischen Ozean, dann geht es hinunter zum Galle Lighthouse aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, bevor Sie durch das ruhige Innere des Forts zurück fahren. Fahrräder und ein erfahrener Cycling-Guide sind enthalten, sowie Wasser und Erfrischungen unterwegs. Ein Reservefahrzeug mit Fahrradträger begleitet Sie durchgehend, sodass es keinen Druck gibt, eine Pause zu machen, wenn Sie eine brauchen.
Dies ist eine private Tour, daher können Sie Tempo und Stopps selbst gestalten. Radfahrer müssen mindestens 12 Jahre alt sein. Abholung und Rückbringung vom Hotel, Mahlzeiten und persönliche Ausgaben sind nicht inbegriffen – arrangieren Sie Ihre eigene Anreise zum Treffpunkt des Forts, bevor die zweistündige Fahrt beginnt.
