About this experience
Clip into the saddle and spend two hours pedalling through one of Asia's best-preserved colonial towns. Your guide leads you along Galle Fort's narrow, Dutch-named streets — past whitewashed churches, old colonial homes, and boutique-lined lanes — pausing to explain the layers of Portuguese, Dutch, and British history embedded in every wall. Ride the ancient ramparts for open views over the Indian Ocean, then coast down to the 19th-century Galle Lighthouse before looping back through the fort's quiet interior. Cycles and a dedicated cycling guide are included, along with water and refreshments on the road. A back-up vehicle with a cycle carrier follows throughout, so there's no pressure to push through if you need a break.
This is a private tour, so the pace and stops are yours to shape. Riders must be aged 12 or above. Hotel pick-up and drop-off, meals, and personal expenses are not included — arrange your own way to the fort's meeting point before the two-hour ride begins. Lakpura organises the rest.
