To reach it, guests take a short yet serene boat ride along Kepu Ela, a tributary of the River Ginganga. The two identical two-storey villas are framed by a backdrop of wooded hillside, paddy fields, and marshes, all visible from private balconies. On the ground floor sits a plunge pool. A flight of steps leads to the first floor, where a comfortable air-conditioned bedroom, a modern bathroom, and a lounge deck with panoramic garden views await. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls draw the surrounding landscape into every room, and the large double bed is dressed with a mosquito net. Planter's chairs and cushions on the wooden deck provide a natural perch for bird watching.

Each villa offers a room area of 17.55 sq. m, a bathroom area of 13.5 sq. m, and a terrace area of 33.02 sq. m, bringing the total room area to 64.07 sq. m.

Getting There

The drive from the international airport covers 146 km and passes through the city centre of Colombo, the coastal city of Mount Lavinia, and the resort towns of Wadduwa, Kalutara, Beruwela, Bentota, Kosgoda, Ambalangoda, Hikkaduwa, and finally Galle. The sea accompanies the journey on one side almost all the way, while the rhythms of everyday Sri Lankan life — bullock carts, buses, lorries, tuk tuks, and the smiles of school children in their shining whites — unfold on the other.
