Rainforest Edge ligger i Balawatukanda i Weddagala, nära Kalawana i distriktet Ratnapura, omgivet av grönska i utkanten av naturreservatet Sinharaja, ett UNESCO-världsarv känt för sin biologiska mångfald. Reservatet ligger cirka 500 meter från hotellet.
Weddagala ligger bortom Ratnapura, en lång resa inåt landet från den internationella flygplatsen Bandaranaike i Katunayake, och restiden beror på trafiken och vädret den dagen. Boka transfer från flygplatsen i Colombo (CMB) till Rainforest Edge.
Rummen har balkonger med utsikt över den omgivande regnskogen, och boendet är utformat för att smälta in i sin naturliga omgivning, vilket ger en rustik men bekväm vistelse.
