Belihuloya Rest House, now run as EKHO Belihuloya, stands beside the Belihul Oya river, 0.3 km from Belihuloya town. Built as a resting place for British colonial officials, it became a favourite hillside retreat and honeymoon destination in the 1950s and 1960s.
