Sobre esta experiência
Step onto a quality bicycle and follow your English-speaking host through the streets of Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, where the ruins of Sri Lanka's last unified kingdom hide in plain sight among the modern capital's buildings. Over three hours, you ride and walk a historic route threaded with stories of battle, betrayal, royal literature, and the ultimate fall of the Kotte kingdom — pausing at ancient temple grounds, crumbling ruins, and a museum that brings the era to life.
Your private tour begins with a hotel pick-up from central Colombo. Height-appropriate bicycles, helmets, and bottled water are provided. The experience is suitable for guests aged five and above. Food, personal expenses, and gratuities are not included. Lakpura arranges the full logistics so you can focus on the history unfolding around you.
