The book is written entirely in Sinhala. There is no English text, so a reader who does not read Sinhala will not be able to follow the instructions — worth knowing before ordering from abroad. For Sinhala-reading households, and for Sri Lankans living overseas who cook from Sinhala-language books, it is a straightforward everyday recipe collection rather than a specialist or regional one.
