Natural Neem Powder from Ancient Nutra is ground neem leaf (Azadirachta indica), known in Sinhala as kohomba, packed in a 100g white stand-up pouch. The maker sells it as a cosmetic powder, for mixing into face and hair packs.
Neem is a tree found across Sri Lanka, and its bitter leaves have a long place in Sinhala Ayurveda.
Ingredients

The pack is labelled non GMO, gluten free, natural and vegan.
How to use
- Face pack: mix a spoonful with water or milk (the maker also suggests honey or yoghurt) into a smooth paste, apply, then rinse off
- Hair pack: mix with water, or with coconut or olive oil, and apply to the hair and scalp before washing
- The maker suggests a face pack once or twice a week
For external use. Do a patch test first. Ask a doctor before use if you are pregnant, nursing or on any prescription.
Storage
After opening, seal the pouch tightly and keep it in a cool, dry place.
