Sunquick Lemon is a squash concentrate made with lemon and apple juice. One 700ml bottle makes about seven litres of lemon drink, so it lasts a household a good while and goes far at a party table.
How to use it
Mix one part squash with nine parts water, still or sparkling, or to taste. Over ice with a sprig of mint it makes a quick lemonade. Once opened, keep it at room temperature and finish it within eight weeks.
Ingredients: Sugar, lemon and apple juice from concentrate, acidity regulators (citric acid, potassium dihydrogen citrate), water, natural lemon flavouring, stabilisers (cellulose gum, guar gum, pectin), preservatives (potassium sorbate, sodium metabisulphite), vitamin C, vitamin A, natural colours (beta-carotene, chlorophyll).
Allergens: the maker lists milk and sulphites. No artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners, says the maker.
Sunquick has been made since 1966 and is bottled in Sri Lanka by Sunquick Lanka at Horana. Made in Sri Lanka.
