Link Mahamasha Oil is Mahamasha Thailaya, a classical Ayurvedic herbal oil, from Link Natural Products of Colombo. The name is built on masha, the Sanskrit word for black gram, the small dark pulse also known as urad.
The oil is a deep amber-brown and comes in a 180 ml round amber glass bottle, closed with a green metal screw cap that carries the Link Natural emblem and a tamper seal that breaks as the cap is turned. The green label has a yellow diamond at its centre with the name set out in Sinhala, Tamil and English, beneath a yellow flash reading Link Aushadha in Sinhala.
A yellow side panel is printed in Sinhala and Tamil, and a separate yellow strip is stamped with the batch details and dates. The label also carries the product's Ayurveda registration number and the Link Natural Products address in Colombo 02.
This is Link Natural's Mahamasha Thailaya in the bottle and label used in Sri Lanka. It is offered as a traditional preparation, not as a medicine.
