Lifetone Phyllanthus Niruri Powder is a single-ingredient herbal powder made from dried Phyllanthus niruri whole herb — a widespread annual tropical plant known in English as gale of the wind and, in Ayurvedic tradition, as Bhumyamalaki or Bhumi Amla. The herb belongs to a large genus of tropical plants long recognised in Ayurvedic practice, and this powder is registered under the Department of Ayurveda, Sri Lanka. The 100 g pack is produced by Possible Green Private Limited, whose manufacturing facility holds certification from an ISO 22000:2005 certified company (Certificate No: 190325049402, UAF accreditation).
The powder is made from the whole herb — stems, leaves and all above-ground parts — dried and milled to a fine consistency. Nothing else is added: the ingredient list on the label reads simply 'Dried Phyllanthus niruri whole herb powder'. The declared nutrients are carbohydrates, protein and fat; the declared minerals are calcium, iron and phosphorus. Vitamins are listed on the pack as not known.
To prepare, take a teaspoonful of the powder and place it into a glass of freshly hot water. Stir well and drink while still hot. Once the pouch is opened, transfer any remaining powder to an airtight container to keep it fresh. The kraft paper stand-up pouch is resealable, making it practical to store between uses.
The product comes in a 100 g resealable kraft paper pouch with a green base gusset — a format chosen to protect the powder from moisture and light. The batch reference printed on the pouch is PHNP / 10/04/2024; manufacturing and expiry dates are printed at the point of production.
