Lifetone Neem Leaf Tea is a single-ingredient herbal tea made from dried neem leaf granules, packed into individual sachets and produced in Sri Lanka by a manufacturer registered under the Department of Ayurveda. The neem tree — a small to medium-sized evergreen long established in Ayurvedic, Unani, and Homeopathic traditions — has been used for centuries across South and South-East Asia, with every part of the plant valued in traditional practice. This tea draws on that heritage in a straightforward, modern form: one herb, nothing added.
The sole ingredient is dried neem leaf granules. Each sachet contains 1.5 grams of the leaf, and the pouch holds 20 sachets, giving a total net weight of 30 grams. The declared nutritional composition includes macronutrients — carbohydrates, protein, fat, and dietary fibre — alongside minerals including calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and sodium, and vitamins B and C. Preparing the tea requires nothing more than freshly boiled water. Place one sachet in a cup, pour the water over it, and allow the bag to infuse for at least two minutes. Stir the bag and give it a gentle squeeze to draw out the full character of the leaf before removing it. Neem has a pronounced natural bitterness — that is the leaf itself, unmodified, which is what you would expect from a tea of a single, unflavoured ingredient.
The packaging is a stand-up kraft paper pouch with a zip-seal closure. Once opened, the remaining sachets should be kept in an airtight container to preserve freshness. The shelf life from the manufacture date is twelve months.
