Lifetone Nannari Tea is a blended herbal tea combining powdered nannari root with Ceylon black tea, packaged in a cardboard box of 20 tea bags with a net weight of 40 grams. It is produced by Possible Green (Pvt) Ltd in Kilinochchi, in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, and distributed internationally under the Lifetone brand.
Nannari root — known in Tamil and Malayalam as nannari, and in Sri Lanka as iramusu — comes from a slender, twining climber with woody, aromatic roots that has been used in Ayurvedic and other traditional medicine systems across South and South-East Asia for centuries. Here it is ground to a powder and blended with Sri Lankan black tea, bringing together a distinctly earthy, subtly warming character with the familiar depth of a Ceylon brew. The pack lists carbohydrates, protein, fat, and dietary fibre among its nutrients, alongside the minerals copper, iron, potassium, and sodium, and vitamins A and C.
Brewing is straightforward: pour freshly boiled water over a tea bag and allow it to infuse for at least two minutes. A few stirs and a gentle squeeze of the bag before removing it from the cup will draw out the full essence and flavour. Once the box is opened, the remaining bags keep best in an airtight container.
The listing is available as a single 40-gram box of 20 bags, as a Lakpura-selected single unit, or in packs of three or five boxes for those who prefer to stock up. A pack of five in a 20-bag configuration is also offered. All options carry the same product and brewing directions.
Please note the general warning printed on the packaging: pregnant women, lactating mothers, children, and anyone currently undergoing medication or surgery should consult their doctor before use.
