The grade
OP1 is a long, well-twisted, wiry leaf, slightly delicate in style. It brews a light, delicate cup. Because the leaf is whole and long, it needs the full steeping time to open.
How to brew
Allow one level teaspoon, about 2 g, of leaf per cup of freshly boiled water. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes, then strain. Drink it plain or with milk.
Storage
Once opened, keep the leaf in a closed container in a cool, dry place, away from strong smells.
