Step into the world of Ceylon Tea with this private two-hour tasting session in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka's cool highland tea country. Your Lakpura-arranged experience includes hotel pick-up and drop-off, so you go straight from your accommodation to the Tea Company, where knowledgeable hosts walk you through the history and craft behind Sri Lanka's most celebrated export.
Once inside, work your way through a range of Ceylon teas — from light, floral first flushes to bold, full-bodied brews — learning to identify flavour profiles as you go. The session is conducted in English and is suitable for guests aged five and above. Personal expenses and gratuities are not included.

Worth a walk round
This is not the Botanical gardens in Kandy.
But is a charming place to sit and walk round.
It is recovering from the cyclone.

A nice small cafeteria inside that serves delicious masala tea as well, especially when its quite cold this gives a nice warm up.
