The Basilur Bouquet Collection Assorted Green Teas is a set of four distinct green tea blends, brought together in a single book-shaped box and presented under Basilur's Exclusive Premium Quality mark. The box holds 32 tea bags in total — eight of each variety — with every bag individually sealed in a foil envelope to keep the tea in good condition until the moment it is opened.
Each of the four varieties has its own character. Sencha is made from 100% pure Ceylon green tea processed in the Sencha style, in which leaves are gently steamed immediately after picking, producing a brew with a mellow flavour and a rich yellow colour. Cream Fantasy pairs pure Ceylon green tea with strawberry and vanilla flavours for a softer, sweeter cup. Green Freshness combines pure Ceylon green tea with peppermint leaves, giving it a clean, cool edge. White Magic takes a different direction: Ceylon green tea is blended with Milk Oolong sourced from outside Sri Lanka and finished with a milk flavour, making it the one variety in the collection that draws on tea of more than one origin. Because of this, the collection as a whole carries the designation 'A Blend of Ceylon Tea and Tea of Other Origin Packed in Sri Lanka'.
The packaging is Basilur's signature Tea Book format — a book-shaped box with a floral illustration on a green background and the brand name running vertically in gold lettering along the spine. It is a format that travels well as a gift: the box is sturdy, the presentation is considered, and the four varieties inside give the recipient a real range to work through rather than a single repeated experience.
To prepare each cup, Basilur recommends water heated to around 80°C and a steeping time of two to three minutes. The bags are intended for a single use each, and the full box is packed by Basilur Tea Export (Pvt) Ltd. at their facility in Angoda, Sri Lanka. Once opened, store the remaining bags in a cool, dry place.
