The Akbar Classic Earl Grey is loose Ceylon black tea of FBOP (Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe) grade from high and medium-grown gardens, flavoured with natural bergamot. This is the 100 g tin; the same blend also comes in a larger 250 g tin.
Bergamot gives the cup a crisp citrus scent over a smooth black tea base, and the aroma lingers after each sip. Drink it plain, with milk, or with a slice of lemon, or brew it stronger and chill it over ice.
The smaller tin is easy to give as a gift or to keep in an office, and it seals out light and moisture between pots.

How to brew
- 1 level teaspoon per cup
- Freshly boiled water, 100°C
- Steep 3-5 minutes, then strain
