About this experience
After dark, Sinharaja Rainforest comes alive. Join a private, three-hour nocturnal walk led by an expert naturalist guide who knows exactly where to look — scanning the canopy for the slow, deliberate movement of Sri Lanka's elusive loris. These small, wide-eyed primates are strictly nocturnal and arboreal, moving through the forest with a quiet, cautious climbing gait. Your guide provides live commentary on their behaviour, diet, and habitat as you walk, and the entrance ticket is included in your booking.
This is a private activity, so the pace and focus stay entirely with your group. Participants must be aged five or over. Note that hotel pickup and drop-off are not included, so you will need to arrange your own transport to Sinharaja. Gratuities and personal expenses are also at your own cost. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in mammal watching or Sri Lanka's rainforest wildlife.
