Suwa Chandu is a new boutique hotel on Galle Road in Mirissa, opening in November 2026, about 70 metres from the beach and a few minutes from the town's restaurants.
Rooms come in three types: Superior rooms with twin beds for two, Deluxe rooms with a king bed (two adults, or two adults and a child), and Luxury rooms with a king bed for up to three adults or two adults and two children. There is a swimming pool and room service, with breakfast or half board and three-course set menus for lunch and dinner.
Mirissa is known for its beach and whale-watching trips. There are no rooms for drivers or guides on site; guest houses are nearby.
