About this experience
Skip the ticket queue at Udawalawe National Park and head straight into the bush on a three-hour private safari. Your pre-purchased entrance ticket is arranged by Lakpura, so you arrive organised and on time. Board a 4x4 safari jeep — shared with a maximum of five other passengers — and set off with an experienced driver who doubles as your tracker, guiding you through the park's open grasslands and reservoir shores in search of elephants, water buffalo, and crocodiles.
Free pickup and drop-off is included for any location within 5 km of the park gate, and a bottle of water is provided per person. The safari runs for three hours, giving you a thorough circuit of the park's key wildlife zones. Note that food, drinks, and gratuities are not included, and hotel transfers beyond the 5 km radius carry an additional charge.
