This is a Sinhala translation of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations, prepared in abridged form by Premasiri Mahingoda. The text is in Sinhala throughout, so an international buyer should be comfortable reading the language before ordering — there is no English text alongside.
Dickens set the novel in mid-nineteenth-century England, moving between Kent and London, and built it around Pip, an orphaned boy whose life is altered by circumstances he does not at first understand.
