About this experience
Board at Kurikkaduwan Jetty, 40 minutes from Jaffna town, at 4 pm on Day 1 and set sail at sunset past Nainaitvu Island. Over seven days, your English-speaking captain guides you through the Jaffna archipelago — snorkelling off Analathivu, stepping ashore on the Dutch-colonial Delf Island to see coral walls and wild miniature horses, and visiting the sacred Nagadeepa Viharaya and Nagapooshani Amman Temple. A guide joins you on land for Jaffna Fort, Nallur Temple, and a traditional Tamil home lunch.
Days five and six take you further afield to Adam's Bridge — the mythical chain of limestone shoals linking Sri Lanka to India — and the tiny fishing outpost of Kakarative Island, where you can snorkel on a regenerating reef. Three meals a day, drinking water, and all local taxes are included throughout. You disembark at Kurikkaduwan Jetty at 10 am on Day 7.
