About this experience
Board a 4WD jeep and head into Lunugamvehera National Park, a vital elephant corridor linking Yala and Udawalawe National Parks. Drive along the banks of the Lunugamvehera Reservoir and watch as elephants, deer, and other wildlife come to the water's edge. Your experienced driver doubles as your tracker, reading the landscape and guiding you to the best sightings across this seldom-crowded wilderness in Sri Lanka's south.
This is a private safari — your jeep carries a maximum of six passengers — so you set the pace. Free pickup and drop-off is included for any location within 5 km of the park gate, and a bottle of water is provided per person. The full excursion runs 12 hours. Park entrance tickets are available as an add-on at booking. Gratuities, meals, and hotel transfers beyond the 5 km radius are not included.
