Your private, air-conditioned vehicle picks you up from your Galle hotel at 09:00, so have breakfast sorted beforehand — or bring a packed meal if your hotel can't arrange it. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide drives you to Handungoda Tea Estate, roughly 30 to 40 minutes from the city, where you explore one of Sri Lanka's last hand-rolled tea producers. A chilled 1-litre water bottle is provided for the road.
The full-day, 8-hour itinerary continues into Galle itself — the atmospheric Dutch-colonial fort district with its ramparts, cobbled lanes, and lighthouse. As a private tour for guests aged 5 and above, the pace is yours to set. Hotel drop-off is included at the end of the day. Personal expenses, food, drinks, and gratuities are not covered, so bring local currency for refreshments along the way.
