About this experience
Travel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle along Sri Lanka's southern coastline, departing from Colombo Seaport with your English-speaking chauffeur guide. The 12-hour day takes you past coconut palm-fringed beaches before you board a boat for a river safari on the Madu Ganga — gliding through mangroves and spotting wildlife along the waterway. A water bottle is provided for each guest. Stop at Hikkaduwa if you'd like to explore the coral reefs independently (snorkelling, diving, or surfing at your own expense).
The day concludes in Galle, where you stroll the ramparts and cobbled lanes of the Dutch-built Galle Fort — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a private tour with a minimum age of five, so the pace is entirely yours. Meals, gratuities, and any personal expenses are not included.
