Seven Turtles is a small ocean-front resort on Wellaodaya Road at Rekawa, on Sri Lanka's south coast. It sits right on the Indian Ocean shore with direct beach access, about 15 km east of Tangalle and 5 km from the town of Ranna, away from the busier stretches of the coast. Kalametiya Sanctuary, a coastal wetland known for its birdlife, is about 6 km away. Colombo (CMB) Airport is around 230 km by road, roughly three hours by car.
There are just ten rooms. The four Sea View rooms have a king bed and a 15 m² ocean-view balcony, and the two Garden View doubles also have a king bed and a balcony. The two Garden View twins have separate beds that can be pushed together. Two single-storey Ocean Faced Bungalows (34 m²) each have a private veranda, a king bed and a sofa bed for a third guest. Rooms come with air conditioning or a ceiling fan, an electric kettle, a minifridge and a safe, and extra beds can be arranged on request.
The nearest railway station is Beliatta, the terminus of the southern coastal line. By tuk-tuk, the resort is about 15 minutes from Ranna bus station and about 30 minutes from Tangalle.
