The approach is deliberately accessible. Rather than literary criticism aimed at specialists, the writing keeps to simple language, which makes it suited to readers meeting these names for the first time — students, general readers, and anyone who has heard the titles discussed but not read around the writers themselves.
Please note that the text is entirely in Sinhala. There is no English translation within the book, so it will be of use to readers comfortable in the language, or to those building a Sinhala-language collection abroad.
