Start your journey at 9:00 am from Kitulgala and proceed to Pinnawala to explore the Millennium Elephant Foundation. Learn more about elephants than ever before. You will have the opportunity to see and touch these gentle giants, feed baby elephants, and watch the mahouts bathe them—and you may even be able to help. This is a truly immersive experience that brings you closer to elephants.
From Pinnawala, at around 12:00 pm, complete your elephant experience and stop at Mawanella on your way back to Kitulgala to visit a Spice Garden. Here, you can learn about the different varieties and qualities of Sri Lankan spices and also purchase them if you wish.
At approximately 1:00 pm, you can stop for lunch at a place of your choice while returning to the airport.
Complete your journey around 3:00 pm and return to your hotel in Kitulgala.
