A Sinhala novel by Letitia Botheju, published in Colombo by M. D. Gunasena & Co. The story is built around a series of events between a young woman living with a mental illness and the young doctor who arrives to treat her.
Readers outside Sri Lanka may know the title from the screen rather than the page: this novel was the basis for the well-known film Ganga Addara, and a teledrama was later made from the same story.
