Ancient Nutra Virgin Coconut Oil is a 500ml pack of virgin coconut oil from the Ancient Nutra range. The coconut is hot air dried and then cold pressed, which gives a clear, light-tasting oil that keeps the aroma of fresh coconut.
Coconut oil is the everyday cooking oil of Sri Lanka, used for frying, tempering spices and in sweets. Virgin oil is pressed from the fresh kernel and is not refined.
How to use
- In the kitchen: for cooking, frying and baking, as a spread, and in both sweet and savoury dishes.
- On hair and skin: some people apply a little as a hair oil or after a bath. Do a patch test first.
Storage
Keep the cap closed and store away from direct sunlight. Coconut oil turns solid in cool weather and liquid again when warm; this is normal and does not change the oil.
Ancient Nutra is a Sri Lankan brand, founded in 2015.
