Clip on a helmet, mount your bicycle, and set off through Jaffna with a knowledgeable English-speaking local guide at your side. Over three hours and 45 minutes, this private tour leads you past living relics of the ancient Jaffna Kingdom — temples, churches, and landmarks that trace the history of Sri Lanka's Tamil kings. You weave through the busy lanes of Jaffna Market, where stalls overflow with tropical fruits, street food, and handicrafts, before pulling up at the city's most famous local ice-cream parlour for a well-earned break.
Your bicycle and helmet are provided, and a bottle of water plus a king coconut drink keep you refreshed along the route. A photography session is built into the ride, so you leave with images as well as memories. All taxes and service charges are covered by Lakpura; personal expenses, gratuities, and any entrance fees are your own. Minimum age for this tour is 10 years.
