Accepted Answer

Within South and Southeast Asian traditional medicine, Timonius species have been used in preparations addressing skin conditions, inflammation, and fever. Accepted Answer

Sri Lanka's varied climate zones — from dry northern plains to wet lowland rainforests and cool central highlands — support an exceptionally diverse flora. This natural richness has enabled the development of one of Asia's oldest and most sophisticated ayurvedic traditions, drawing on hundreds of plant species for medicinal formulations.
