Lakpura holt Sie in einem klimatisierten Fahrzeug ab und bringt Sie zum Park, wo Sie einen eigenen Safari-Jeep mit einem englischsprachigen Fahrer besteigen, der das Gelände kennt. Der Park beherbergt die höchste Konzentration von Leoparden in Sri Lanka – scannen Sie das dornige Buschwerk, malerische Lagunen und goldenen Sanddünen nach diesen schwer fassbaren Raubtieren neben schlammbadenenden Elefanten, Faulbären, Wildschweinen, Wasserbüffeln, Fleckenrehen und goldenen Schakalen. Resident und Zugvögel – Pfaue, Flamingos, bemalte Störche und Graureiher unter ihnen – belohnen diejenigen, die nach oben schauen. Ein Liter gekühltes Mineralwasser pro Person wird für die Fahrt bereitgestellt.
