A Sinhala-language work on astrology, compiled by Dr Piyasena Rathuwithana, an astrologer of long standing. Its concern is an aspect of astrology that, in the author's account, has gone largely unseen and has been passed over by many — and the book sets that aspect out in some detail rather than treating it in passing.
Readers should note that the text is in Sinhala throughout, so comfort reading the language is necessary. It will suit Sinhala readers with an existing interest in jyotisha and in how practitioners in Sri Lanka approach and discuss it, whether they study the subject themselves or simply follow the literature around it.
