قلعة سيجيريا الصخرية، التي تشتد من سهول منطقة ماتالي، تعتبر من أكثر مواقع التراث العالمي لليونسكو شهرة في سريلانكا. يُعرف الموقع أيضاً باسم صخرة الأسد، وهو يضم قلعة صخرية قديمة ومجمع قصور بناه الملك كاشيابا، الذي ترك من حقبة حكمه مجموعة استثنائية من الأطلال والحدائق الزخرفية وجدار المرآة الشهير الذي كان يعكس الوجه الغربي للصخرة بالكامل.
