Elevate your next barbecue with the rare and sophisticated aroma of Ceylon Cinnamon Wood Chunks. Sourced directly from the lush plantations of Sri Lanka, this wood is the "hidden gem" of the grilling world. While the bark is harvested to create the world’s finest cinnamon spice, the dense heartwood remains infused with the same sweet, volatile oils. When used for smoking, it releases a fragrant, spiced smoke that is lighter and more refined than traditional hardwoods like hickory or oak, ensuring your meat is never overpowered by bitterness.
The flavor profile of Ceylon Cinnamon wood is uniquely sweet and aromatic, making it the premier substitute for the elusive Jamaican Pimento wood. It provides a warm, peppery undertone and a beautiful mahogany finish to everything it touches. It is particularly spectacular when used for poultry, pork, and lamb, though adventurous chefs also use it to add a smoky depth to grilled fruits and desserts. Because it is a byproduct of the sustainable cinnamon industry, you can feel good knowing your gourmet smoke session is eco-friendly and 100% natural.
Designed for performance, our chunks are seasoned and kiln-dried to the perfect moisture content for a clean, consistent "thin blue smoke." These 2 - 4 inch chunks are sized to fit perfectly in offset smokers, kamado grills, or even small charcoal kettles. Whether you are aiming for an authentic-style Jerk chicken or a uniquely spiced rack of ribs, Ceylon Cinnamon Wood Chunks bring the exotic essence of the "Island of Spices" directly to your backyard. Simply toss a few chunks onto your hot coals and transform a standard meal into a world-class culinary experience.
