Thejan Beach Cabanas is a small beachfront guest house on the sand at Induruwa, just south of Bentota on Sri Lanka's south-west coast. Opened in 2015, it has nine rooms and cabanas on a single level, with a restaurant and bar looking out over the ocean and a spa for massages and body treatments.
The property stands on Galle Road at Yalegama, Induruwa, directly on Induruwa Beach. Induruwa railway station is about 0.6 km away, which makes it easy to arrive or leave by the coastal train, and Bentota, with its river and its longer stretch of beach, is around 5 km to the north, roughly a ten-minute drive.
Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) is about 115 km from Induruwa, and the drive usually takes around 2 hours on the airport and Southern expressways, depending on traffic around Colombo. The beach is the main reason to stay, with the spa on hand for massages, facials and body treatments when you have had enough sun. Bentota, a few minutes up the coast, is the place for boat trips on the Bentota River and water sports, and the turtle hatcheries of Kosgoda are about 5 km to the south.
