About this experience
Board your air-conditioned vehicle in Negombo and travel to Kithulgala, where the Kelani River cuts through dense jungle. Your English-speaking instructor covers safety briefings and paddle technique before you hit the water, so first-timers and returning rafters alike know exactly what to expect. Bottled water is provided throughout. The minimum age for participants is 10 years.
Once on the river, you navigate the rapids of one of Sri Lanka's most celebrated white-water stretches, with jungle canopy lining both banks. This private, guided session runs for approximately 6.5 hours door to door — enough time for a full rafting run and the scenic drive each way. Hotel pickup and drop-off from Negombo are included. Food, gratuities, and personal expenses are not covered.
