Livinya Holiday Resort sits on Kataragama–Sellakataragama Road, a short walk from Kataragama town and its temple, and within driving distance of Yala and Bundala national parks — a practical base for pilgrims, families and travellers heading out on safari.
Rooms are offered across three categories — Standard, Superior and Deluxe — with meal plans ranging from Room Only and Bed and Breakfast to Half Board and Full Board, so guests can choose how much dining is included in their stay.
The temple itself is within walking distance, while Situlpawwa Rock Temple, around 11 miles away, and Bundala Bird Sanctuary make good half-day trips. The local town and its markets, including an early-morning fish and produce market, are close enough for an easy wander between excursions.
On the 1st day when I call to inquire and get info about the rates and driver accommodation etc Malsha who was very helpful and professional. She's a very friendly helpful person in this hotel. I told her that I'm coming to Kathar…
The location is close to Kiri Wehera and other attractions, and the staff are very friendly. The food and services are excellent.
