Ambiente is located along the Kithalella Road which is a short distance away from the Ella town area. The railway station and the Ella bus station is of proximity while there are roads that lead up to Nuwara Eliya, Wellawaya and also Arugam Bay. The distance from Ella to Colombo is approximately 205 km while it can be reached via railway. The Badulla train which takes about 9 hours from Colombo Fort offers a mesmerizing train journey through hills and valleys. You can also drive through the Colombo - Ratnapura - Bandarawela road and reach Ella in about 5 - 6 hours.
